The Amazon river
The source of this mighty river is Calillona, Peru and ends in North eastern Brazil. The 6280km long river stretches across Brazil along with its 17 tributaries, 17 are over 1600km long. 20 percent of the water deposited into the ocean comes from the amazon. although the Amazon is not the longest it is the widest. Exceeding widths of 6-10km. The amazon river contains thousands of fish, and new species continue to appear due to the the vastness of the amazon.
